Press Release Body:

New York NY - September 19, 2006 - Thomson Architects PC (TAPC) has been selected to
present a session at the 2007 AIA New York State Convention, scheduled for October 4
- 6, 2007 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in New York City. The session is titled
"Implementing Building Information Modeling (BIM) Within Architecture Firms -
Lessons Learned" and will be presented by Stephen Thomson, founder of TAPC, and
Timothy Lowerre, a lead architect at the firm.

The session will share TAPC's experiences in implementing BIM within their own
practice. It will begin with an examination of where the technology is taking the
profession, and offer tips for firms seeking to prepare for its implementation. The
two architects will also discuss the key challenges that TAPC encountered while
implementing and using BIM, and the solutions they developed to overcome those
challenges. The goal of the session is to help firms of all sizes to understand how
BIM benefits the entire profession.

"We firmly believe that all firms, regardless of how many architects and designers
you have on staff, can reap substantial rewards from BIM. BIM fosters crucial
collaboration very early in the project, and that shared project vision gives rise
to new opportunities for optimization of quality, time and costs thorough improved
visualization, organization and shared information," said Mr. Thomson.

As important as these goals are, no one who runs a firm can forget that architecture
is simultaneously a business. "While BIM hold tremendous promise for the field, its
learning and adoption curves can be daunting. There are many firms, like TAPC, that
are eager to learn and stay on the cutting edge. But all firms have real clients
with tight deadlines. We hope this session will help firms learn from our
experiences," said Mr. Thomson.

One of the early projects in which TAPC used BIM was an educational facility. The
firm used a BIM modeling program to design a world-class facility for the City
University of New York (CUNY)'s Graduate School of Journalism, at 230 West 41st
Street in New York City. The school, located on the third and fourth floors of the
former Herald Tribune building, consists of new classrooms, meeting spaces,
broadcast studios, editing rooms, faculty and administrative offices, as well as a
state-of-the-art converged Newsroom.

On September 19, 2007, the AIA NY Committee on Architecture on Education will tour
the facility in order to see the converged Newsroom and other innovations being used
by journalism students.

"Implementing Building Information Modeling Within Architecture Firms - Lessons
Learned" will be held Friday, October 5, 2007 from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM as part of the
2007 AIA NY Convention at the Grand Hyatt Hotel. This session qualifies for AIA
Credit.
